How Caravel Logistics Improved their Productivity using Google Workspace

Challenges
In 2020, Caravel Logistics had its employees split between using Google Workspace and a legacy environment, which needed them to manage two different consoles. However, they soon realized that the latter had some major drawbacks in terms of user experience and security. Also, the increasing costs was another massive concern that came forth due to the software they were using. Their IT team wanted a solution that could help them solve their concerns related to unsecure data sharing, time-consuming processes for internal resource management and strenuous collaboration and connections.
Searce Solution
When the pandemic struck in 2019, the organization realized it needed to make a software switch as employee productivity was deteriorating due to new work from home norms. The best solution was to move onto something that would support remote working, without causing a dip in employee productivity and ensure efficiency in operations.
Migration to Google Workspace: Post multiple consultation sessions with Searce, it was decided that initially 111 users of Caravel Logistics would be migrated to Google Workspace. The decision was taken to help the brand manage different domains under a single console.
Better outputs in a remote working environment: Google Workspace, provided an easy collaboration platform, which gave the employees full control over the firm’s operations and increased their productivity. Using Google Meet & Slides, they could make presentations, attend and host quarterly meetings and webinars on the go. It also made it easy for the IT & admin teams to have control over corporate data security and gain visibility into endpoint management.
Control on security issues: The switch made it easy to manage employees and control resources with centralized administration. The team could also push all security parameters while ensuring data security to create a safer working environment.
Reduction in costs: Due to the easy access of being able to work on Google native files (Sheets, Docs etc.), Caravel was able to save on the funds spent on previous software licenses.
