Floweraura Transforms their Business with Searce and AWS by Leveraging Data Analytics
Floweraura is an online flower store that delivers the best quality – fresh cut flowers in more than 229+ cities all over India with the help of their strong affiliate network and channel stores. With an estimated annual revenue of around 25M USD per year and a high-traffic website, Floweraura approached Searce in a bid to improve their real-time analytics.
Challenges
The primary challenge faced by Floweraura was not having access to real-time replication and analytics. The data retrieved from Google Analytics showed ad-cost analysis on a day-to-day basis and hourly ad-cost data instead of getting real-time updates which made them unable to get meaningful insights from the data collected from various sources.
Searce Solution
Searce helped Floweraura build an AWS Kinesis Firehose to get data from DynamoDB into Redshift so that it can be merged with information received from other sources and generate actionable insights from the consolidated data. AWS DMS for CDC replication for the near real-time reporting was implemented as a solution to avoid the problem of delayed information. To understand the ad cost to acquire a customer, Searce developed python scripts to capture hourly ad cost data and inserted it into RedshiftData models and ten dashboards in Quicksight to enable near real-time data and analytics.
Business Impact
- Floweraura achieved better decision making and real-time insights based on the reports which were generated on QuickSight.
- They were able to centralize the data warehouse and report framework in Redshift where various data sources were merged.
- Redshift clusters offered Floweraura the flexibility and scalability as it required which depended on the peak and slack in business periods.
Concluding Quote
By leveraging data and analytics the right way, Floweraura is achieving maximized efficiency that improves their overall business systems. Searce helped Floweraura tackle all their challenges head-on and solved them all for better.
